At IRL, we believe that the voices of marginalised communities must be at the centre of sustainable change. This training on Participatory Reflection and Action Research (PRA/ PAR) equips practitioners, researchers, and development professionals with the knowledge and tools to engage communities as active partners in generating solutions.
The program introduces participatory methodologies that move beyond conventional data collection, enabling communities to analyze their own realities, reflect on challenges, and co-create strategies for social transformation. By fostering dialogue, trust, and collective ownership, participants will learn how to design and facilitate inclusive action research processes that strengthen resilience, empower marginalised groups, and inform evidence-based policy and practice.
This training is ideal for professionals working in humanitarian response, development and humanitarian programming, peace building, advocacy, and organisational learning who seek to advance rights-based, community-driven approaches to tackling inequality and exclusion and promoting social cohesion and peace.
