The Institute for Research and Learning (IRL) offers a specialized training on Institutional Strengthening and Compliance for Not-for-Profit Organizations (NPOs), designed to enhance organizational effectiveness, accountability, and sustainability. In today’s rapidly evolving regulatory and donor environment, NPOs must demonstrate strong governance, financial transparency, and compliance with national laws and international standards. This training equips organizations with the knowledge, systems, and tools needed to meet these requirements while advancing their missions.
The program covers key areas including governance and board effectiveness, strategic planning, financial management, donor compliance, safeguarding, human resource systems, and monitoring & evaluation. Participants will engage in interactive sessions, case studies, and practical exercises that build their capacity to strengthen internal structures, improve reporting, and align with donor and regulatory frameworks.
By the end of the training, NPO leaders and practitioners will be able to apply best practices in institutional management, mitigate compliance risks, and enhance their credibility with stakeholders. This initiative reflects IRL’s commitment to empowering civil society organizations with the skills and systems necessary to deliver impactful, transparent, and sustainable development and humanitarian programs.
