High-quality research and evaluation are critical for accountability, learning, and adaptive programming. IRL specializes in program evaluation and participatory action research (PAR) that brings communities and stakeholders into the heart of knowledge generation. Our approach moves beyond traditional evaluation methods by integrating participatory tools, reflective learning, and action-oriented outcomes. We conduct baseline studies, mid-term reviews, end-line evaluations, and impact assessments across humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding programs. Through PAR, we empower communities to identify challenges, co-design solutions, and reflect on outcomes, ensuring research is not extractive but transformative. This approach strengthens ownership, builds local capacity, and generates practical recommendations for organizations. IRL’s evaluations provide credible evidence to donors, policymakers, and practitioners, while our participatory research ensures that interventions remain relevant, inclusive, and sustainable. By combining rigor with inclusivity, we help bridge the gap between knowledge and practice in development work.
